Position: Human Resources Administrator
Location: Olathe, KS (In-Person)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $60,000 – $75,000
Expected Hours: 40 per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the staffing process, including conducting thorough background checks, onboarding new hires, and facilitating orientation sessions.
  • In charge of reviewing and updating job descriptions to accurately reflect evolving needs.
  • Maintain and enhance the human resources information system to optimize operations.
  • Keep the employee handbook up to date, ensuring that all employees receive timely and relevant information.
  • Manage the payroll process with precision and care.
  • Collect, review, and post timesheets while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and process annual bonus calculations to reward the dedicated team members.
  • Guide employees in selecting the best health insurance options for their needs.
  • Assist in administering the retirement plan, helping employees secure their financial future.
  • Update payroll deductions and compensation to reflect any changes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with employment and payroll tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with external insurance carriers to expertly handle workers’ compensation claims.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the human resources field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Familiarity with leading external payroll services, including Paychex, Paycom, ADP, or Paycor.
  • A commitment to handling confidential information with the utmost responsibility and professionalism.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel that will enhance your effectiveness in the role.
